But we could be looking at a new, more minimal interface. Remember, yours truly has been pounding feedback since day 1 for a better, less visually superabundant GUI on the Mac.
The bottom line is, Aqua sucks, and is a waste of processor. Apple computers are too slow, because the interface is too bloated. Windows computers have interfaces that are WAY more customizable than ours, with respect to fonts and colors.
Can you imagine how responsive the interface would be without the bloat? I think Spotlight via the search box in Finder windows is great. It's a great tool. Beats Windows all to hell. But imagine what other great features are likely not possible because the bloat of the interface forbids the use of processor time for some other newfangled (but useful) function? You can bloat your way into a corner where true functionality is excluded because so many current resources are being used on superficial eye candy.

I still don't get why I used to be able to search for files on a connected server, and actually have it work... and now EVERYTHING returns "0 items"... When I KNOW the stuff is on there somewhere. Nut driving. Very, very nut-driving.
