Will Leopard be a new chapter in the Apple con? In other words, will Apple start deploying p2p technology to save money on bandwidth for things like software updates and purchases from the iTunes store?

I can see it now. Why clog the Apple Store servers with movie downloads, when all you need to do is get the Mac Faithful to agree that part of BEING Mac-Faithful, is sharing their stuff with strangers--uh, I mean other MacFaithful.

So, for example, brother #1 buys a movie. Pays at the iTunes Store. Brother #2 buys the same movie. Pays at the iTunes Store. But instead of DOWNLOADING it from the iTunes Store, he simply downloads it right from Brother #1's computer! Easy-peasey. Simple as eatin' pancakes.
