. Thanks, Harv, I'll keep the trackball in mind. Otherwise, I'm not inclined anymore to buy anything to keep this classic Mac going. The end is in sight. I'll keep it for some time during the transition, but there's not really any point in upgrading it. .

. In the new animated movie "WALL-E," when the title character robot reboots, you hear the old classic Mac starting tone. .

Its a pretty amazing testament to how well Apple designed Mac OS X that the grand total number of members on this forum is 106 people. Thats 2.12 people for every state in the union. For all of thalo.net On another note, its amazing how long its been since we were all bickering on MacFixitForums isn't it? I have returned.

Hey brother NDP! Good to see you are as deluded a kool-aid drinker as ever. It's an amazing testament to the power of sugar-water marketing that people will spend a buck and change on a can of soda worth all of a fraction of a cent. Apple didn't design OS X nearly as well as they have marketed it to digi-rubes. I still laugh whenever I hear the complete baldfaced lies like "super-stable" and "ultra-modern." It's got a long way to go to be either of those. And yet, I hold out hope, as I have for years, that eventually things will get better, quality and stability will improve, and the interface design will go from utterly ridiculous to functional and commonsense. Viva la MacLash.

hi, my bitches! I resent that. I resent the implications that you equate constant complaining with a queer-like affiliation of emotional Elton-Johnish "bitch is back" bitchism. Are not X-critics people too? If you Aqua us, do we not bleed? I'm calling in Jesse Jackson or whoever the hell is in charge with rights and dignity being stomped on by evil white oppressors, because I feel oppressed, de-dignified, and white-whooped. I am not a bitch. Let me count the ways. Whether it tis nobler to suffer the ying and yang of Captain Outrageous Or whether, having Switched, run friggin' OS X all day. I'll stop bitching now.
