I think this is just the tip of the iceberg.
This Blogovich Trial is going to expose even more criminal activity. Blogovich wasn't acting alone. The entire Hussein White House was part and parcel to the corrupt Illinois state government. Blogovich was made into the fall guy. One of the main witnesses for the Prosecution is Tony Rezko. Then state Senator Hussien was involved in the same criminal activities Blagovitch is on trial for and in which Rezko has already been convicted and jailed. These are real crimes and corruption the things that weaken government. We have a fraud President that can not be trusted to guide our future. An equally corrupt Congress being run by two absolute buffoons as our only protection. Liberty...2010. |

Did you watch some of the other videos. The activist and media are upset that the IDF are showing footage they confiscated from the "activists/terrorists". The soldiers were brutally attacked. In this video can you spot the peace activist? They are acting like savages. This story has been so warped totally. The main cargo the flotilla was delivering were more terrorists into Gaza. There were some 700 people on the flotilla. Where is the world leadership? Instead we have terrorist states dictating world policy. |

I read or watched something yesterday that noted that, of course, Winston Churchill's biography (at least one of the noted ones) is called "Alone." In many ways, Fox News is alone in a world of liberal fantasy just like Churchill was alone in a world of liberal appeasement based on cowardice and fantasy. And who pays the price for their stupdity? Everyone. All hell is about to break loose, although this could also come in the form of extended deterioration of the West. Without America to lead politically, morally, and militarily in the world, the "client" states such as Japan will realize it's everyone for himself. What a price to pay for all those fools who have been voting for the Obama types and believed all their hysteria, scapegoating, and fear-mongering. Fools. Stupid fools. |

George Will: The limits of the welfare state

One of the most pernicious aspects of "Progressivism" (and another dead give-away that it is but a thinly veiled religion) is this bit from Will:
Jonah Goldberg, in his book "Liberal Fascism," gets into this aspect in even more detail, about how the nanny state nitwits on the left (much like religious zealots) wish to use government to give purpose and meaning to our lives. Well, no thanks. That's not what government (at least in America) should be about. When you get a grasp for how bully self-righteous and zealous "Progressives" are, you may find yourself, just like me, thinking that the separation of church and state is a great idea. And if applied to "Progressives," 90% of their policies would be ruled unconstitutional on these grounds alone. Progressives don't respect the individual. They want to knock on your door (with the force of government behind them) and force their religion onto you. This is a great quote too:
If you're a "Progressive," if you're a liberal, chances are you're not the goody two-shoes "compassionate" person you think you are. You're instead a thief. And many conservatives fit that category as well, particularly Christian Conservatives. Although this is deemed a Christian Nation (and not without some justification), the commandment of "thou shalt not steal," like many other biblical urgings, has been ignored. We certainly didn't get to where we are today because we held too closely to Madisonian limited government individual-liberty principles. We got here because we liked the idea of something for nothing. And we've sold out our country – and future generations – when in the name of a fake and self-serving "compassion" we've lathered ourselves in unsustainable entitlements and "rights." We've stolen from our neighbors (and future generations) and pretended we were not doing so because it all got dispensed from "the government." That's a sad attitude for a free people when they see "the government" not as WE THE PEOPLE but as a class of lords and ladies who deign to shower us with gifts if we will but vote them into office and hand over to them our individuality and personal dignity. That's a great article by Will. Glenn Beck (and certainly Jonah Goldberg) is having an impact among the conservative intelligentsia. |

And let's not forget how, traditionally, how many Jews in this country are liberal democrats and progressives. How many in the sterotypical New York profile, have flirted with communist and socialist ideas. After this kind of thing with the "Freedom Flotilla", I always have to wonder, how's that going for them?
I think Jews I know are some of the most fearful of the bonfire of the vanities, particularly the wealthy. Historically, they've SEEN what it's like when people lose their minds and start going after your money for whatever bullshit reason. |

Apparently Rush got married over the weekend and Elton John played the wedding. That's an odd mix, but not really so odd when you understand that women have dictatorial powers over the wedding and men just pay for it. Read the talkback comments. A number of the nutty liberals out there think Elton is a traitor. Very funny. But money talks. Apparently a million dollars. Deep-down, we're all capitalist whores even if we do our best to keep up the "social justice" bullshit exterior. Baby Jesus knows the difference.

Sorry, this is going to sound like a brag, but I had posted on Facebook the other day (and repeated it here) about all those Christians out their breaking one of the Ten Commandments, the one about "thou shalt not steal." Well, Walter "Black by popular demand" Williams was guest-hosting the Rush show today and he made the very same point, although he made it much better, of course.
Hey, if you want to think of yourself as a "Christian Nation," knock yourself out, but at least try to live up to that. Stop stealing. As Williams says, stealing is still stealing even if you use the power of government to do so. --- Oh, and I just heard that the dried up old hag, Helen Thomas, has just retired. |
