I downloaded Photoshop CS4 to run the trial version. I think it does run better than CS3. The Bridge certainly does.

Once it expired I used the Adobe uninstaller to remove it. Big mistake. Now I can not print to my Epson 2200. Nothing will print to it now. At first I thought it was the printer but I have reinstalled all the software for it drivers I can run the Utilities on it etc.

Go to print something crashes every application now. I can almost guarantee you that if I were to purchase the upgrade to Photoshop CS4 install it this problem would go away.

Hmm, interesting. Rico, in what way the Bridge works better? I'm currently using CS3 at work and think the bridge is the weakest part, although it works OK.

Smithz it seems the code has been cleaned up. It just runs smoother. I am working on an old Dual G4 DDR machine which is not even in spec for CS4. It handles large amounts of files better. Especially after you visit the folder once.

The price of admission for Photoshop CS4 is the clone tool. If you use the clone tool a lot it now gives you an image of what is going to be cloned right in the clone icon. This way you can blend things much faster. Lines can be more easily maintained. The tabbed windows view works too. If you have 8 images open they appear in one window as tabs. Not to bad.

Right now I am screwed at trying to print to my Epson. I have exhausted my ideas. Short of a complete reinstall of the entire system. Or purchasing CS4.
