Too bad it isn't Apple. Check out Aqua for Command-Line Tools. It is a start for bringing the "mysticism" of the command line to average joe user. I am just starting to evaluate it now, so perhaps those who are interested can add their thoughts on how to make this really powerful. Maybe the combined suggestions will inspire Apple to "Watson" the idea and make a powerful GUI tool, in an easier to understand language, for terminal commands.

Yeah, that would be a back-to-the-future approach for what the GUI was supposed to be in the first place!

There was another app that did this very well. Anyway it is already possible using RealBasic (and I suppose AppleScript Studio/Project Builder but that's not for me).
I love rolling my own UIs for otherwise commandline tools. Pretty neat. Not much more arcane that calling Apple Events in Facespan/AppleScript/Hypercard...
